Pay rate based on experience and certifications: $60-$68 per hour W-2

Quantum Education Professionals is seeking an Orientation and Mobility Specialist for a school-based role serving students.

In this role, you will engage with students and passionate teammates.

Responsibilities:

Assess student’s functional abilities for the purpose of determining program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatment and appropriate assistive devices.

Develop orientation and mobility plans for the purpose of ensuring compliance with IEP goals.

Instruct students in the use of various equipment and materials for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of visual impairments and helping students reach their highest level of independence.

Participate in IEP/Evaluation/Transition meetings.

Collaborate with a variety of professionals and individuals.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree

Current Orientation and Mobility Certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP)
